Compiling Linux apps from Windows version?
« on: August 13, 2009, 08:28:44 am »
I feel like getting both lazarus and FP (linux) downloaded, installed, configured, and cooperating is going to prove too much for me. I'm wondering if it is possible to compile linux binaries from the win32 version, and then grab the binary and run with it.

Dos-man, getting FPC/Lazarus to run on linux is not that difficult.  You will most likely find that cross-compiling from windows for linux will be much more difficult - in theory it is possible, but in practice it is very daunting.
